Job summary

Brisbane Boys’ College in Toowong, Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Visual Art teacher for Years 7–12. You will teach to the QCAA General Visual Art syllabus, participate in Endorsement/Confirmation processes or be willing to learn, and contribute to a strong Arts program.

Permanent full-time appointment; successful candidates may also engage with Junior Years (Prep–6) where feasible, in a collegial, mission-driven school community committed to safeguarding and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
• First aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience teaching Visual Art to secondary students (Years 7–12) and familiarity with the QCAA General Visual Art syllabus.

Responsibilities

• Teach Visual Art to Secondary School (Years 7–12), including Endorsement and Confirmation processes or willingness to learn.
• Collaborate with the arts team and uphold the College’s mission and vision.
• Support Junior Years (Prep–6) teaching if practical.
