Job summary

VALD in Brisbane, Australia is seeking a Videographer/Editor to shape how the company tells its story through video. You will produce content across product launches, educational resources, social media, paid advertising and brand campaigns as part of the global marketing team.

The role requires 3–5 years of videography experience, proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and a passion for sports performance technology.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' professional experience in videography or video production.
• A degree or relevant qualification in Film Production, Multimedia or Media Arts.
• Proven experience producing high-quality video content; advertising creatives a plus.
• Hands-on experience operating camera equipment.

Job description

This is a permanent, full-time position based at VALD's global headquarters in Brisbane, Australia. As a Videographer/Editor, you will play a key role in shaping how VALD tells its story through video. Working as part of our global marketing team, you'll help produce engaging content across product launches, educational resources, social media, paid advertising and brand campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing managers, product teams and subject matter experts to turn creative concepts into video content.
• Plan and produce video content by filming, directing and editing a wide range of content including product launches, educational videos, customer stories, paid social campaigns and organic social media.
• Support productions by directing talent and ensuring efficient shoot days.
• Edit and refine video content, applying colour correction, sound design and motion graphics to produce polished, high‑quality deliverables.
• Create content for multiple platforms by adapting and repurposing video assets for paid advertising, social media, websites and other digital channels.
• Collaborate across the business with marketing, product, sales and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, engaging and meets outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' professional experience in videography, video production or a related creative role.
• A degree or relevant qualification in Film Production, Multimedia or Media Arts.
• Proven experience producing high‑quality content ranging from curated to fast‑turnaround organic social to longer‑form content; experience in advertising creatives is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience operating camera equipment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, including basic motion graphics and animation.
• Understanding of cinematography, lighting, audio capture and post‑production workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
• Storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Creative problem‑solving skills.
• Organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement, constantly seeking ways to streamline workflows and increase content output.
• Interest or experience in sports performance, health technology, rehabilitation or biomechanics is highly regarded.
