Job summary

Montrose & New Norfolk VetCentre, part of VetPartners, is a modern small animal practice with two locations, seeking two experienced Veterinary Nurses for a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of ongoing employment beyond the initial term.

You will assist across anaesthesia, surgical nursing, patient care and client communication, handling a varied caseload while upholding high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) required.
• Confidence across anaesthesia, surgical nursing, patient care and client communication.
• Passion for animals and strong teamwork and growth mindset.
• Positive, proactive attitude and good organisational skills.
• Commitment to a safe, supportive workplace with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Nursing across anaesthesia, surgical nursing, patient care and client communication.
• Deliver exceptional care to patients and a standout experience to clients.
• Perform general nursing tasks including monitoring, admissions, discharge and IV catheter placements.
• Assist across soft tissue, orthopaedic, emergency and rehabilitation cases.
• Maintain hygiene across the practice and equipment.
