Job summary

Vets at Amaroo is seeking a permanent full-time veterinary nurse to join our close-knit small animal team. We’re a modern, professional clinic focused on compassionate, high-quality care and supportive teamwork across consultations, hospital nursing, surgery and dentistry.

You’ll work across a varied caseload with mentoring and professional development opportunities, and access to VNCA membership, wellbeing support and pet discounts.

Qualifications

• Holds a Cert IV in Vet Nursing or equivalent.
• Has a minimum of 2 years veterinary nursing experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong patient care focus and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and commitment to gold-standard veterinary care.
• Willingness to continue learning and contribute to a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in consultations, hospital nursing, surgical support and client communication across the clinic.
• Support anaesthesia, patient monitoring and hospital care as part of a diverse caseload.
