• RxWorks experience is advantageous.

About the Role

This is a casual Veterinary Nurse position, ideal for an experienced nurse looking for flexibility while continuing to work in a busy and rewarding clinical environment.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently step into the clinic and support the team across all aspects of veterinary nursing.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and procedures
• Surgical preparation and theatre assistance
• Monitoring anaesthesia and patient recovery
• Medical nursing and inpatient care
• Collecting samples and performing pathology testing
• Administering medications and treatments
• Emergency and critical care nursing support
• Dental procedures and patient care
• Maintaining hygiene and infection control standards throughout the clinic
• Providing exceptional customer service and client communication
• Supporting reception and administrative duties when required
• Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic

As a casual team member, your ability to adapt quickly and confidently support the team where needed will be highly valued.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• Has at least 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience
• Is confident and competent across both medical and surgical nursing
• Can work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision
• Has strong anaesthetic monitoring & patient care capabilities
• Communicates confidently & professionally with both clients & colleagues
• Remains calm & organised in a busy environment
• Brings a positive, team-first attitude
• Has experience using RxWorks (advantageous but not essential)
