Job summary

Allison Crescent Vet Hospital in Sydney seeks a full-time Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, dedicated team. The ideal candidate has a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, at least two years in general practice, and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Experience with EzyVet is a plus, but not essential. You will support veterinarians across nursing tasks, maintain clinic hygiene, assist with reception, and contribute to a collaborative workplace focused on exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (essential).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in general practice.
• Experience with EzyVet (desirable).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing skilled support to veterinarians across all areas of veterinary nursing, including anaesthetic monitoring, animal handling, IV catheter placement, and blood collection.
• Delivering compassionate, high-standard patient care, treating every animal as if it were your own.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic environment throughout the hospital and kennel areas.
• Assisting with reception and general administrative duties as required.
• Contributing to a supportive, team-focused clinic environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (essential)

• Minimum 2 years' experience in general practice

Key Responsibilities
