Job summary

Petstock Vet in Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula invites a qualified veterinarian to join our small but well-equipped practice. You will enjoy a balanced schedule with no after-hours roster, alternating Saturdays 9am-1pm, and opportunities to grow the hours as workloads rise.

We value a collaborative team, strong client communication, and a commitment to professional development. You will work with IDEXX pathology, digital radiography, and a supportive nursing team to deliver high-standard

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in small animal general practice.
• Registered with the state Veterinary Board and eligible to practise.
• Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for small animals.
• Deliver clear client communication and education.
• Collaborate with veterinary nurses and team members.

Petstock Vet - Rosebud Welcome to our charming and well-appointed veterinary clinic on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated veterinarian with 2+ years’ experience to join our team, on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be happy to work alternating Saturdays (9am-1pm), as well as other shifts across the week when needed. The role's available hours have the ability to grow as summer approaches and workload increases, in which case our roster can be flexible to accommodate you as an individual, alongside a balance of consulting and surgery shifts.

The role requires that you:

• Are comfortable with all aspects of small animal general practice.
• Deliver patient and client care at a high standard.
• Are friendly, caring and value a collaborative approach.
• Have excellent communication skills, and we don't mind a good sense of humour, too!
• Embrace professional development.

• Are happy to work sole charge when required.

For this position you must hold a relevant Veterinary Science degree from an accredited university and be registered with relevant state Veterinary Board.
