Job description

Ready to take your GP skills to the next level without the burnout of full ECC?

At Greencross Noosa Civic, we’re reshaping how urgent veterinary care is delivered and we’re looking for vets who want to be part of that change.

This is a great opportunity for a GP vet who wants variety, professional growth, and a team-first environment. You’ll take on an interesting, fast-paced caseload that blends general practice and urgent care, without the demands of full emergency work. It’s ideal if you're ready to challenge yourself clinically while still maintaining work–life balance. If you are relocating to Noosa, we can offer up to $15,000 in relocation allowance to make the move easier.

Whether you're looking to expand your skill set, work more flexibly, or simply try something new, we offer a supportive and exciting next step.

Greencross Noosa Civic is a purpose-built, well-established clinic combining GP and urgent care services. We’re currently expanding our team to help meet growing demand and support our shift toward a sustainable urgent care model.

You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, including ECC-trained vets, in a collaborative environment with strong nurse support and access to advanced equipment.

What the role involves
  • A mix of GP consults, routine procedures, and urgent care cases
  • Day, evening (up to 10:30 pm), and shared weekend shifts
  • Flexibility to fit your lifestyle and availability
  • Mentoring, case support, and access to experienced clinicians
  • Being part of a “one team” culture, where GP and urgent care vets share responsibility
What’s in it for you
  • A varied caseload with no overnight or critical care work
  • Training and support to help you build confidence in urgent care
  • A strong team culture with shared knowledge and mutual respect
  • A beautiful location with real lifestyle balance
  • Consult note support using Heidi AI to reduce admin burden
  • Relocation support available up to $15,000 if you are moving to Noosab>
We offer
  • Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements
  • 4 weeks annual leave plus 1 week of CE leave (or take it as extra annual leave)
  • Paid AVA/Vet Board registration and VIN membership
  • Access to Greencross CE and leadership pathways
  • Career opportunities within our national network
  • Visa sponsorship available for eligible vets
  • Relocation allowance for vets relocating to Noosa
