Venue Support Officer/Accommodation Manager | Hinterland Hotel / Motel | Dream big with us!

The Hinterland Hotel / Motel is a true community landmark, offering a unique blend of a high-volume tavern experience and comfortable motel accommodation. We pride ourselves on being the go‑to destination for locals and travellers alike, and we are looking for a Venue Support Officer who can manage the heartbeat of our back‑of‑house operations while ensuring our guests feel right at home.

A day in the life of a Venue Support Officer:

  • Completion of all financial reconciliations as required including maintaining point of sale registers.
  • Maintaining all data integrity in all ALH systems in a timely manner as well as all employee records and training records.
  • Manage stock control and stocktakes within the Venue as well as identify and highlight cash and stock variances.
  • Ensure all VISA obligations are met and managed for team members in the ALH systems.
  • Reviewing all venue generated reports and providing feedback to key team members.
  • Assist Management Team in achieving expected audit results as well as Compliance and Loss Prevention.
  • Manage all motel accommodation operations, including guest relations, room allocations, and overseeing housekeeping standards.
  • Drive motel occupancy and revenue while ensuring every guest has a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience.

Qualifications

About You:

  • You have experience in hotel or motel management and understand how to deliver a premium guest experience.
  • You provide outstanding customer service with enquiries via phone, email and face to face.
  • You understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • You maintain the administration area in a well organised and professional manner at all times.
  • You support the Venue team with service on the floor during peak times of trade.
