About Netwealth

Netwealth isn't just a company. We're shaping the future of wealth in Australia. Our award-winning platform and NextGen technology empower advisers and investors to achieve more, and we're proud to be recognised as one of Australia's most innovative FinTech businesses.

Since 1999, we've grown rapidly by challenging the status quo. We move fast, think big, and stay agile. Free from unnecessary bureaucracy so we can deliver smarter solutions for our clients and create real impact.

But what truly sets us apart? Our people. We're a team of curious, optimistic and courageous individuals who collaborate to make life better for more Australians. We value authenticity, and agility, and we believe in creating an environment where you can do your best work, grow your career, and feel part of something meaningful.

If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, where innovation is celebrated, and where you can help shape a brighter financial future, join us at Netwealth.

The Opportunity

Shape how Netwealth manages risk across the suppliers we rely on most.

As our supplier ecosystem evolves, strong vendor governance is about understanding where risks sit, keeping critical suppliers accountable and ensuring the right controls and oversight are in place.

We're looking for a Vendor Risk & Assurance Manager to own Netwealth’s supplier governance, risk and assurance framework. You'll partner across the business and with our suppliers to strengthen how we identify risk, monitor performance and manage our most important vendor relationships.

You’ll also help shape how we work, embedding our vendor risk management system, strengthening reporting and building practical processes that support our obligations, including APRA CPS 230.

What you’ll do
  • Own and strengthen our supplier governance and assurance framework, with particular focus on material and critical suppliers.

  • Lead supplier due diligence, risk assessments, ongoing monitoring and assurance activities, ensuring risks and remediation actions are clearly understood and managed.

  • Monitor supplier performance, service levels and emerging risks, translating insights into clear reporting and recommendations.

  • Oversee supplier issues, escalations, remediation activities and exit plans, driving clear ownership and accountability through to resolution.

  • Partner across Procurement, Risk and Compliance, Cyber Security, Technology and the broader business to ensure supplier risks and contractual obligations are effectively managed.

  • Embed and manage our vendor risk management system and vendor register, improving data quality, workflows, reporting and overall governance maturity.

About you

You're an experienced vendor risk, third party risk or supplier assurance professional who can see both the risk and the practical path forward. You're comfortable navigating a regulated environment, challenging constructively and bringing different stakeholders together to drive an outcome. Just as importantly, you enjoy building better ways of working and turning complex risk information into clear, actionable insights.

  • You bring strong experience across third party risk management, supplier assurance, vendor governance, operational risk or a closely related discipline.

  • You have a strong working knowledge of APRA CPS 230, outsourcing and operational resilience expectations.

  • You have hands on experience with supplier due diligence, risk assessments, evidence reviews, treatment plans, remediation and ongoing monitoring.

  • You can assess supplier criticality and materiality and turn complex findings into clear recommendations, escalations and management reporting.

  • You're a confident communicator who can work with senior stakeholders, constructively challenge where needed and drive accountability.

  • You bring experience with vendor risk management systems, governance platforms or supplier registers and understand the importance of strong data and reporting.
