Job summary

Autopacific Group, based in Brendale near Brisbane, is seeking full-time Vehicle Accessory Fitter / Trades Assistant. You will install towbars, bull bars, driving lights, and other accessories for a variety of vehicles, using hand, air and power tools.

The role emphasizes safety, precise fitting, and customer-focused service, with a small team and regular daytime hours. Training and uniform/PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated basic mechanical knowledge from automotive or related background.
• Demonstrated basic auto electrical knowledge from automotive or related background.
• Punctual and reliable with consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Installing towbars, bull bars, driving lights, electric brake controllers, cargo barriers, towing mirrors, UHF radios, winches and related accessories.
• Safe use of hand, air and electric power tools during installations.
• Reading and understanding fitting instructions before commencing work.
• Facilitating the movement of customer vehicles on and off premises.
• Providing professional and timely fitments that meet customer expectations.
• Supporting safety leadership and implementing safe work practices on job sites.

Located in Brendale, we provide both in-house and mobile fitting services for a variety of vehicles, ranging from caravans to 4WDs. Joining a committed team, you will be the lynchpin between our customers, sales and internal support teams.

About the role:

Due to continued success and ongoing growth, we are looking for full-time fitters to join our team.

Your job will include:

Installing towbars, bull bars, driving lights, electric brake controllers, cargo barriers, towing mirrors, UHF radios, winches etc.

Safety leadership & the ability to identify and implement safe work practices.

Reading and understanding fitting instructions.

Facilitating the movement of customer vehicles on and off premises.

Professional and timely fitments.

We are keen forpanel beaters, custom car audio installers, mechanics,mechanics with pre-delivery experience and individuals with anytrailer, caravan, suspension or marineexperience to apply.

Skills and experience:

Demonstrated basic mechanical and or auto electrical knowledge from prior automotive or associated industry / interest / hobby background.

Excellent attention to detail and care for correct handling of products and vehicles.

Punctual and reliable.

A current and valid manual Driver’s license (Mobile/onsite fitting)
