Job summary

RMIT University in Melbourne seeks a VE Teacher for Engineering, Electrical & Telecoms to deliver high-quality vocational education and training in electrical engineering and telecommunications. The role emphasizes industry-relevant teaching, competency-based assessment, and student-centered learning to prepare graduates for the engineering sector.

Qualifications include a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) and preferably a Master’s or PhD in Engineering.

Master or PhD in Engineering (preferably).

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality vocational education and training in the engineering discipline.
Provide industry-relevant teaching and assessment in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications.
Develop practical skills, technical capability and professional readiness in students.
Deliver associate degree in engineering technology with competency-based training and assessment.
Contribute to curriculum development, student support and continuous improvement.
