Department of Education Victoria – Doncaster VIC is looking for a Classroom Teacher to plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching across core subjects. The role emphasises literacy and numeracy, data-informed practice, and collaboration with families and staff to support student outcomes.

The successful candidate will contribute to school programs, engage in professional learning, and uphold child safety standards while supporting the school’s strategic priorities and values.

Formación

• Knowledge of the curriculum with literacy/numeracy integration.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring/assessing student learning using data and providing feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues.
• Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional learning.
• Awareness of child safety responsibilities (Ministerial Order 870 and VRQA).

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare and deliver programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
• Engage in reflection and inquiry to improve knowledge and teaching skills.
• Contribute to school policies and priorities and support curriculum delivery.
• Direct teaching of groups/individuals and supervise student teachers.
• Use student data to inform teaching approaches and pursue growth targets.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the Principal.
