Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking an Outside School Hours Care Educator for Ocean Grove vacation care shifts. You’ll lead engaging activities for primary-aged children, provide healthy snacks, and foster strong relationships with kids, families, and local schools.

Role emphasizes safety, compliance, and a supportive team environment with opportunities for professional development and study pathways.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Complete, are studying, or are willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Child Protection Early Childhood Learning Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability between 6:30 am-9:00 am & 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant vacation program.
• Take part in daily activities for primary-aged children.
• Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
