Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking passionate educators for vacation care shifts in Bendigo, VIC. You’ll lead activities for primary-aged children before school, after school, and during holidays, ensuring a safe and engaging program.

You will foster strong relationships with children, families, and schools, while meeting safeguarding requirements and continuing professional development through subsidised training and promotions.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Currently studying or willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Child Protection Early Childhood Learning Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program for primary-aged children.
• Take part in daily activities during before/after school care and school holidays.
• Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
