Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Certificate is required.
• Experience servicing or repairing forklifts, used equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
• Hydraulic and electrical diagnostic experience is valued.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and working rights.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and assessing used equipment.
• Refurbishing equipment for resale.
• Servicing, repairs and general mechanical work.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Identifying repairs and maintenance needs.
• Conducting safety and operational checks.
• Cleaning and presenting equipment to a high standard.
• Recording work and equipment condition.
• Working with workshop, parts and sales teams.
