Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for USC and Reman component repairs.
• Manage quotations within service level timeframes and meet customer expectations.
• Analyse workflow challenges and identify opportunities to improve quote turnaround times.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
• Collaborate with Procurement to obtain vendor pricing and expedite quotes.
• Create repair quotations for component and workshop service cases.
• Partner with Reman Sales to improve quote approval turnaround times.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure quotes are complete and aligned with customer requirements.
• Support customers during inspections and provide ongoing updates throughout repairs.

The Opportunity

Build strong customer relationships while delivering timely and accurate repair solutions.

Komatsu is seeking a motivated and customer-focused USC Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and managing quotations for USC and KE component repairs, working closely with customers, procurement, workshop teams, and sales stakeholders to ensure fast turnaround times and an exceptional customer experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, coordination, or quoting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple teams.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for USC and Reman component repairs.
• Manage quotations within agreed service level timeframes and ensure customer expectations are met.
• Analyse workflow challenges and identify opportunities to improve quote turnaround times and team performance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and professional service.
• Work closely with Procurement to obtain vendor pricing and expedite quote requests.
• Create repair quotations for component and workshop service cases.
• Partner with the Reman Sales team to improve quote approval turnaround times and customer outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure quotes are accurate, complete, and aligned with customer requirements.
• Support customers during inspections of replacement components and provide ongoing updates throughout the repair process.

Role Located: Welshpool

Roster: 5 days on 2 days off

What we are looking for:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing, production, or workshop operations.
• Sound knowledge of quality management principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build effective relationships across internal teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels of the business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and experience working with business systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience supporting employee performance and development processes would be highly regarded.
