Job summary

ForHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service. You will triage and deliver front line care in collaboration with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are registered with AHPRA, available evenings and weekends, and have several years of ED/triage/ICU experience. Join a growing network focused on accessible healthcare across Australia.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Must be available evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Emergency Department, triage, ICU/CCU or rural/remote nursing.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care and triage with accuracy and empathy.
• Conduct thorough nursing triage to assess patient needs and prioritize care.
• Act decisively in emergencies and escalate deterioration promptly.
• Perform hands-on procedural care such as suturing and plastering in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient records for continuity of care.
