Job summary

ForHealth is seeking a registered nurse to join our Urgent Care team in Adelaide. You will provide high-quality nursing support, conduct timely triage, assess deteriorations and support clinicians in delivering patient care.

You will engage in hands-on clinical care including wound care and plastering, manage documentation, and contribute to patient education. This role suits an experienced RN with strong assessment and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in emergency, triage, ICU/CCU or rural/remote nursing.
• Proven ability to triage and escalate emergencies promptly.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact and conduct accurate, timely nursing triage.
• Assess patients, prioritise care and identify/escalate emergencies or deterioration.
• Deliver hands-on clinical care including wound care, suturing, plastering and assisting with procedures.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in collaboration with patients, families and medical practitioners.
• Support patients with health education and achieving positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to workplace health, safety and quality initiatives.
• Adapt confidently to a fast-paced and changing Urgent Care environment.
