Job summary

Ochre Health Ltd. is seeking a GP for Hobart’s Urgent Care Clinic, offering afternoon and weekend shifts with higher penalty rates and a salaried employment package.

This role bridges general practice and emergency care in Tasmania’s capital, backed by a skilled nursing team and fast-paced clinical support. The position supports a secure financial structure with four weeks of paid annual leave and additional personal leave, plus onsite access to diagnostics and ALS2 training as part of ongoing

Qualifications

• Fellowship FRACGP or FACRRM is essential.
• Current unrestricted Specialist Registration with AHPRA is required.
• ALS2 certification or willingness to undertake paid training is required.
• Experience with emergency presentations and minor procedures is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute presentations in a fast-paced UCC environment.
• Perform minor procedures and suturing as part of patient care.
• Bridge the gap between general practice and the ED in a salaried setup.
• Work afternoon and weekend shifts with access to co-located diagnostics and acute-care support.

Remuneration & Employed Benefits

• Top-Tier Remuneration: Competitive annual salary package of $387,140 p.a. (pro rata if PT), paying $14,890 per fortnight or $1,489 daily (8-hr shift).
