Job summary

Sunraysia Community Health Services Inc in Mildura, VIC, is seeking a Casual Customer Service Officer for the Urgent Care Clinic. You will support nurses and GPs, manage administrative inquiries and create patient appointments to keep the clinic running smoothly.

The role operates on a rotating roster with weekend availability and penalty rates; you’ll handle telephone queries, data entry, and records administration while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in administration or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of three years' work experience in a similar customer service role.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service, reception or administrative support.
• Experience with client management systems or similar database software.
• Understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and support colleagues; good time management.

Responsibilities

• Support nurses and GPs in the Urgent Care Clinic.
• Create and communicate patient appointments in a timely manner.
• Handle telephone operations and general inquiries.
• Maintain electronic client data base entry and records administration.
• Support clinicians and adherence to organisational policies.
