ForHealth Group seeks a Clinical Lead GP for the Melton Urgent Care Centre, near Melbourne. VR GP with urgent care or emergency medicine experience will provide visible, on-site leadership, mentor staff, and improve patient care quality.

Work with the UCC State Clinical Lead to strengthen governance, support the medical workforce, and maintain high operational standards at a local level. Flexible part-time non-clinical leadership hours accompany locum shifts.

Qualifikationen

• VR GP with unrestricted AHPRA registration is required.
• ALS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years post-fellowship experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with clear communication.

Clinical Lead GP - Melton – Urgent Care Centre (Victoria)

Are you a VR GP with experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care and a passion for clinical leadership?

We are seeking experienced and motivated Clinical Lead GPs at our Melton UCC to provide visible, on-site leadership within our modern Urgent Care Centres across Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to mentor clinicians, support high-quality patient care, and help shape the future of urgent care delivery.

Working closely with the UCC State Clinical Lead and State Clinical Director (SCD), you will play a key role in strengthening clinical governance, supporting the medical workforce, and maintaining operational excellence at a local level.

About the Role

As a Clinical Lead GP at Melton, you will:

• Provide visible, site-based clinical leadership within the Urgent Care Centre
• Support and mentor GPs, nurses, and administrative staff
• Act as the first point of contact for clinical guidance and complex presentations
• Promote clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives

About You

• Vocational Registration (VR) with unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Current ALS certification
• Minimum 2 years’ post-fellowship experience, ideally within Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
• The ability to balance clinical and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for supporting teams and delivering outstanding patient care
