Job summary

Iluka Resources in Eneabba, WA, is seeking an experienced upstream production leader to commission, ramp up and optimize the CLP plant, building a high-performing team and implementing governance to support long-term refinery operations.

You will lead safety, drive continuous improvement, collaborate with operations, maintenance and engineering, and shape the culture that enables reliable production of critical minerals in a landmark project.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production in refinery, chemical processing or similar heavy industry environment.
• Strong commissioning and operational ramp-up experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, development and performance of supervisors and operators.
• Drive a strong safety culture during commissioning, start-up and operations.
• Lead upstream production through commissioning, ramp-up and ongoing operations.
• Establish governance systems, processes and performance frameworks.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and technical teams to solve problems and improve performance.
• Support continuous improvement, debottlenecking and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Engage employees and foster positive industrial relations.
