Overview
Underwriter – Construction at QBE Insurance.
You will underwrite new business and renewals often at higher complexity and/or volume within set underwriting guidelines, authority levels and service standards, while managing key portfolios/accounts with intermediaries.
You’ll focus on maintaining and enhancing broker/intermediary relationships to retain policies and grow the portfolio profitably.

  • Strong established customer/ broker relationships.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant market conditions.
  • Good knowledge of risk management, portfolio management and underwriting.
