NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd, operating Southern Cross Operations in Western Australia, is seeking a proactive Shotfirer to join our maintenance team. Reporting to the Underground Shift Boss, you will charge headings, handle explosives safely and ensure blasting procedures are followed to meet production targets.

Minimum 2 years underground charge up experience, a Shotfirer’s ticket, Working at Heights, a current Dangerous Goods Security Card, and a valid C-class driver’s licence are required.

Qualifications

• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card or willing to apply.
• Working at Heights ticket.
• Shotfirer’s ticket.
• Minimum C class unencumbered driver’s licence.

Responsabilités

• Charging development headings and production stopes
• Safe and efficient handling, transport and storage of explosives and blasting agents
• Ensure compliance and implementation of site blasting and evacuation procedures
• Working collaboratively and efficiently within a team to ensure production targets are met
• Additional tasks as required by the Underground Shift Boss
