Job summary

Marble Group is seeking an experienced underground maintenance supervisor to lead a mobile crew on surface and underground in North Queensland. You will drive safety, production and people development to ensure the site runs to plan and delivers long-term career progression.

Join a major underground operation with a true 2:2 lifestyle roster. FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns is available, with camp accommodation, meals, gym and leisure facilities on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a maintenance leading hand / supervisor in an underground hard rock.
• Competent working on underground gear.
• Strong safety leadership and communication skills.
• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test and national police check.
• Current manual driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support underground mechanical crew across development & production activities.
• Allocate daily tasks, run pre-starts and toolbox talks, and keep work safe, efficient and on plan.
• Work on a range of Sandvik, CAT and Normet drills, loaders and ancillary equipment across a solid fleet
• Monitor production, ground conditions and equipment performance; liaise closely with supervisors and mine planners.
• Mentor tradespeople and maintain a strong safety-first culture.
