Job summary

Macmahon invites engineering graduates to apply for the Expression of Interest Underground Graduate Engineer Program. This is hands-on, production-focused training in real underground mining environments across multiple sites in the Goldfields Region.

You’ll work alongside experienced crews, learn productivity drivers on a mine site, and be supported by site management. This program aims to develop future leaders through practical experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mining or Civil) required or imminent completion.
• Strong work ethic, team mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Commitment to safety and the ability to manage fatigue and hydration on site.
• Valid manual C Class Australian Driver's Licence is essential; Working at Heights, DG Security Card and First Aid are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an underground mining crew and learn productivity drivers on site.
• Gain hands-on experience in underground operations alongside industry leaders.
• Participate in daily production activities and safety-driven tasks.
• Develop leadership skills through on-site mentoring and project exposure.
