Job summary

Redpath Mining is seeking an experienced Underground Jumbo Operator to support development at Scotia Mine. You will operate twin-boom jumbo drill rigs in challenging underground environments, following mine plans and safety procedures to meet production targets.

The role offers a 2/2 roster with FIFO and DIDO options, competitive hourly rates with superannuation on all hours, and ongoing training to advance your career in one of the mining industry's leading contractors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating underground development jumbos.
• Ability to read and interpret mine plans and mark-ups.
• Strong understanding of underground development processes.
• Commitment to safe work practices and compliance.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Valid manual driver's licence.
• Experience on Sandvik jumbo equipment highly regarded.
• Ability to work FIFO roster.

Responsibilities

• Operate twin-boom jumbo drill rigs safely and efficiently.
• Complete development drilling in accordance with mine plans and drill designs.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Maintain accurate drilling profiles and development standards.
• Identify and report equipment faults and operational issues.
• Work closely with Charge Up, Service Crew, and supervisory teams.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Complete production and safety documentation.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in underground work areas.
