Job summary

REDPATH MINING is seeking experienced Charge-Up Operators for a long-term contract opportunity at Cowal Gold Mine in West Wyalong, NSW. You will be working on a 2/2 FIFO roster, ensuring safe and efficient explosives handling and charging activities.

The position offers stability with fully provided meals and accommodation, along with loyalty milestone bonuses up to $20,000 for long-term commitment. The ideal candidate will have the necessary licences and a strong dedication to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Charge-Up Operator in underground mining.
• Strong understanding of production and development charging practices.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out charging of development and production rounds in line with mine plans.
• Safely handle, transport, and store explosives in accordance with site and legislative requirements.
• Conduct pre- and post-charge inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
