Job summary

Larvotto Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Underground Charge-Up Operator to join our Hillgrove project near Armidale, NSW. The role involves charging and firing underground blasts, with a 7 days on/7 days off roster and day/night shifts.

DIDO and relocation support are available to suitable candidates living regionally. The successful candidate will manage charge-up tasks, work closely with mining teams, and comply with NSW explosives legislation and site procedures to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years underground charge-up or blasting experience in a metalliferous mine.
• Strong understanding of blasting principles and timing systems.
• Experience with electronic detonators (i-kon, eDev, DigiShot or equivalent).
• Knowledge of ground support, hazard identification and stope readiness.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely with high-risk materials under strict procedures.

Responsibilities

• Charge-Up operations including charging, priming, loading and stemming to designs.
• Prepare development faces and ensure correct tagging and barricading.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure safe charging and blast outcomes.
• Operate charging gear and perform pre-starts, maintenance and troubleshooting.
