Job summary

Cummins Inc. offers a 13-month undergraduate internship at our Scoresby site for science or health students. You will provide health, safety and environmental support to production and site personnel under HSE leaders, with opportunities to influence sustainability of HSE systems.

This paid placement requires you to defer your studies for the duration and to actively participate in incident reporting, data analysis and training coordination within a collaborative APAC HSE team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in applied sciences or a related field.
• Has 1–8 units left to complete as of January 2027.
• Available for the full 13 months and prepared to defer studies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in investigating HSE incidents to define root causes.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards in the work environment.
• Support data gathering for HSE trend analysis.
• Help deliver HSE objectives and targets.
• Coordinate HSE training and support training facilitators.
