Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) is seeking an Unaccredited Surgical Registrar for the 2027 clinical year. You will work within a supportive rural health service, gaining broad surgical experience across theatre, inpatient, and outpatient settings under consultant supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum three years postgraduate clinical experience.
• Minimum 12 months surgical experience in Australia or equivalent overseas experience.
• Strong clinical, communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to surgical training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Gain broad experience across acute surgical admissions, inpatient management, perioperative care, theatre and outpatient services.
• Work with Consultant Surgeons, Registrars and junior medical staff with high clinical responsibility and supervision.
• Participate in ongoing education opportunities and contribute to high-quality surgical care.

Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) is seeking an Unaccredited Surgical Registrar for the 2027 clinical year.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your surgical skills within a supportive rural health service. Working as part of a team of Consultant Surgeons, Registrars and junior medical staff, you will gain broad experience across acute surgical admissions, inpatient management, perioperative care, theatre and outpatient services.
