Job summary

CommSec seeks a Specialist UI Designer to craft pixel‑perfect interfaces for web and mobile, contribute to the design system, and shape digital investing experiences. You will help customers originate investment journeys and navigate trading flows with accessible, delightful designs.

You will collaborate with Engineers, Product Designers, and Business SMEs in an agile environment to champion the design system and ensure consistency across platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing digital user interfaces within cross-functional product teams.
• Expertise in user interface and visual design with mastery of modern design tools.
• Experience maintaining and evolving visual identity and design language.
• Skilled in building and maintaining scalable, accessible design systems.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed user interfaces across CommSec's digital platforms and channels.
• Evolve design language, improve design foundations, and inform visual identity guidelines.
• Champion the design system with cross‑platform alignment and accessibility standards.
• Design experiences that scale with platform strategy and anticipate customer needs.
• Develop prototypes and visual narratives to shape future experience direction.
• Produce clear design documentation for teams in scaled agile environments.
• Partner with engineers and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Lead and participate in critiques, workshops, and agile ceremonies to share feedback.
