Job summary

JAX Tyres & Auto Prahran is seeking an experienced Tyre/Wheel Alignment Technician to join our high-performing team. You’ll specialise in tyre fitting, balancing and wheel alignment, helping customers stay safe on the road through expert tyre fitting, balancing, and repairs.

With ongoing training and a supportive culture, you’ll grow with Australia’s leading tyre network. A current manual licence and weekend availability are expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years' tyre fitting and wheel alignment experience
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to operate tyre fitting and alignment equipment
• Positive attitude and teamwork
• Current manual driver's licence
• Availability to work Saturdays on a rotating roster

Responsibilities

• Fit, balance, rotate, and repair tyres to the highest standards
• Conduct tyre inspections and provide recommendations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop
• Deliver outstanding customer service and product advice
• Assist with stock management and inventory control
• Perform accurate wheel alignments using modern equipment
• Diagnose and resolve alignment issues efficiently
• Explain findings and recommendations to customers
• Follow workshop safety procedures and best practices
• Work closely with team members to achieve excellent customer outcomes
