Job summary

Programmed is seeking a Tyre Technician in a busy production environment in Wetherill Park. This hands-on role involves learning the full tyre retreading process, working with used tyre casings and rubber dust, and committing to long-term training and development.

You will be trained across the process, operating automated machinery, and conducting final quality checks to ensure workmanship meets standards. A reliable, safety-minded approach is essential for this physically demanding position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on training provided to learn the tyre retreading process.
• Physical work with used tyre casings and rubber dust is expected.
• Willingness to commit long-term and learn the process properly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tyres inside and out to assess condition.
• Use electrical and laser technology to identify internal faults.
• Buff and shape tyre casings.
• Complete repairs and prep casings for new tread.
• Apply new tread using automated machinery.
• Cure, finish, and perform final quality checks.
