Job summary
OZZYTYRES Ipswich is seeking a tyre fitter/wheel aligner for our Ipswich location. Onshore sponsorship is available for candidates with the right qualifications. You will perform tyre fitting for both commercial and passenger vehicles, as well as wheel alignments on 4x4 and standard cars.
The role demands safe, high-quality workmanship and the ability to work unsupervised in a busy workshop. Applicants should have Certificate III in Automotive Repairs and maintenance, proven industry experience,
Qualifications
- Have Cert 111 or equivalent in Automotive Repairs and maintenance.
- Proven Industry Experience in tyre fitting and wheel service.
- Be physically fit for lifting tyres and operating in a fast-paced workshop.
- Familiar with fitting tyres on aftermarket wheels and conducting wheel alignments.
- Maintain high safety and quality workmanship standards.
Responsibilities
- All automotive (light and medium) vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Experience in fitting commercial and passenger tyres.
- Fit tyres on aftermarket wheels and perform wheel alignments on 4x4 and passenger cars.
- Work unsupervised and as part of a team, delivering quality workmanship on time.
- Maintain a tidy workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
