Job summary

Client Server Ltd. seeks a backend TypeScript developer to design and implement backend services for our customer portal, primarily in TypeScript. You will work in a collaborative environment, taking ideas from rapid prototypes through to production-ready systems with strong ownership of your work.

Location is Cambridge with WFH options; the team meets in the Cambridge office twice weekly. You will contribute to secure, robust software and apply best practices across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong backend TypeScript experience.
• Familiar with containerisation using Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of building secure applications.
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Python and/or Rust is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services for the customer portal using TypeScript.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to move prototypes to production systems.
• Own features end-to-end, shaping both product and technology.

TypeScript Developer / Backend Software Engineer (TypeScript) Cambridge / WFH to £70k

Are you a backend focussed TypeScript Developer?

You could be progressing your career at one of the world's leading cyber security technology companies, where you'll help develop next generation software that protects organisations from increasingly sophisticated AI driven cyber threats.

As a TypeScript Developer you'll design and develop backend services for the customer portal, primarily using TypeScript. Working in a highly collaborative engineering environment, you'll take ideas from rapid prototypes through to robust, production ready systems, helping to shape both the product and the underlying technology.

The role offers plenty of scope for technical ownership, innovation and continuous learning within a fast paced R&D environment.

Location / WFH:
