Job summary

The City of Rockingham is seeking a motivated Turf Maintenance Officer to join our Parks Services team. This permanent, full-time role maintains parks, reserves and streetscapes, including mowing, edging and whipper snipping, using turf equipment.

You will work to daily schedules, operate equipment safely and take pride in delivering high-quality results. Selection criteria include White Card, ability to work in a team or independently, WHS compliance, and experience with park maintenance

Qualifications

• Construction Industry Training (White Card) is required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team or independently.
• Able to work in accordance with WHS obligations.
• Experience in maintenance and safe operation of park-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, whipper snipping and other turf care tasks.
• Operate and maintain turf equipment safely.
• Work to daily schedules and deliver high-quality results.
