Job summary

A leading logistics company in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to conduct multi drop deliveries and build strong customer relationships. Candidates should possess a current HR driver's license and be ready for physically demanding work, with night shifts starting at 9:00pm. Successful applicants will receive comprehensive training and support.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver’s licence (HR or higher).
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
• Ability to pass a Driver medical including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multi drop deliveries with manual unloads.
• Perform local and shuttle duties as required.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Ensure secure delivery of items within specified time frames.
• Follow procedures for prestart checks and load security.
• Maintain accurate records using the PDA.
• Work night shifts starting from 9:00pm.

This role is employed with Cameron logistics Pty Ltd as wholly owned by DHL Supply chain (Australia) Pty Ltd.

In this job you will:

• Be responsible for conducting multi drop deliveries with manual unloads. Extensive training will be provided.
• Perform both local and shuttle duties as required
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Complete the secure delivery of items within specified time frames
• Follow company procedures associated with prestart checks, restraint of loads and securing of vehicle
• Adherence to stringent security requirements
• Maintain accurate records using the PDA
• Work night shifts starting from 9:00pm

You have the following qualities and qualifications:

• Current andvalid driver’s licence(HRor higher)
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements
• Solid understanding of Melbourne Road Network and Metro areas
• Multi drop experience
• Ableto keep up with physically demanding work on a daily basis
• Ability to pass a Driver medical including drug and alcohol testing
