Job summary

IDEAL Placements is seeking a motivated Transition to Work Employment Consultant to join our Workforce Australia Employment Services team in Mackay. You will work with young people aged 15–24 to identify barriers to employment, build vocational skills, and support them to secure meaningful employment or education opportunities.

You will provide job search assistance, resume preparation, interview support and job matching while building relationships with local employers and delivering individual

Qualifications

• Strong communication, consultation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and results-focused.
• Confident building relationships with young people, employers and other stakeholders.
• Able to work effectively to targets, deadlines and KPIs.
• Organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities.
• Strong computer, administration and record-keeping skills.
• Committed to quality service delivery and ongoing learning and development.
• Experience in employment services, recruitment, sales/marketing, job matching or employment placement is highly regarded.

Responsibilities
