Job summary

Scania Richlands is seeking a hands-on pre-delivery mechanic to assist the New Vehicle Delivery team with completing pre-delivery repairs and fit-up work. You will support technicians and ensure documentation is completed accurately following work instructions.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, a Heavy Vehicle license (HR) or ability to obtain one, and experience in new vehicle preparation or heavy vehicle servicing. Scania emphasises safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in a similar position.
• A current Heavy Commercial driver’s license (HR class desirable), or able to obtain one.
• Experience in new vehicle preparation, heavy vehicle/automotive repairs & servicing environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Working with the New Vehicle Delivery team to complete pre-delivery repairs and assist technicians.
