The position offers a full-time salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 per annum, reflecting specialised heavy-vehicle responsibilities and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy vehicle operations and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform daily vehicle checks and document results.
• Willingness to pass medical and drug testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide truck operations in locations and with the team as directed, and complete works to specification.
• Manoeuvre vehicles into position for loading and unloading.
• Operate lifting and tipping devices while observing safety requirements.
• Make regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure safe driving capability.
• Estimate weights to comply with load limitations and ensure safe weight distribution.
• Ensure goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage.
• Verify loading documents and check condition of goods; obtain certification of deliveries.
• Drive a heavy truck, requiring a specially endorsed licence to transport bulky goods.

Northern Goldfields Earthmoving Pty Ltd Position Title – Truck Operator

Provide truck operations in locations and with the team as directed, and complete works to specification.

Tasks Include manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtraining certification of deliveries drives a heavy truck, requiring a specially endorsed class of licence to transport bulky goods.

Registration or licensing is required Company Requirements & Qualifications and Skills check oil, water, tyres and grease machine daily, blowout aircleaners daily keep accurate records as instructed by Supervisor able to pass a Full medical examination including a Laboratory Drug and Alcohol test National Australian Police Clearance comply with all NGE company policies, processes and procedures working within applicable controls documented in company Safe Work Method Statement wearing and using of personal protective equipment where necessary Industry skills and knowledge and experience relevant to the role Strong work ethic and to be willing to learn Truck Drivers Licence HC/MC Fatigue certification Fitness to Drive medical White card
