Job summary

Griffith City Council is seeking a Truck Driver – Team Leader Tar Patch Crew to join our Civil Infrastructure team in Griffith. You will maintain, repair and construct assets safely and efficiently while leading a small crew.

You must hold a current Australian HR Driver Licence and a General Construction Induction Card (GIT/White Card) with civil construction knowledge and leadership experience. Permanent, 38 hours per week, with a fortnightly rostered day off and salary range

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Australian HR Driver Licence and a General Construction Induction Card (GIT or White Card).
• Sound knowledge of civil construction and maintenance practices.
• Experience in leading, organising and coordinating a small team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and construct Council’s civil infrastructure assets safely and efficiently.
• Lead and coordinate Tar Patch Crew to complete tasks to required standard.
• Liaise with team and supervisors to plan daily work.
