Job summary

Network Steel in Southeast Queensland is seeking an experienced MR/HR Truck Driver to join our Transport team. You will deliver structural steel to building sites around Brisbane and the Gold Coast, maintaining a safe driving record and professional customer relations.

On onboarding you'll train in HIAB cranes, forklifts, and our fleet. A current MR/HR licence in good standing is essential, along with knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Laws. Pre-employment tests may apply.

Qualifications

• Current MR/HR Open Licence in good standing is essential.
• Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Laws and Regulations.
• Demonstrated experience driving MR/HR vehicles is essential.
• Experience operating HIAB cranes is desirable.
• Demonstrated customer-first approach and ability to build relationships with customers.
• Safety-first mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural steel to building sites around Brisbane and South Coast.
• Uphold a safe driving record and professional interactions with customers.
• Train during onboarding in HIAB cranes, forklifts and fleet operations.
• Work closely with builders and subcontractors.

Location: Currently Cleveland (4163), moving to Stapylton (4207) permanently from December 2026

Work type: Full-time, permanent

About the role:

• Looking for experienced and well-rounded HR/MR Truck Driver to join our Transport team
• You will be known as someone who upholds a safe driving record as you will be delivering structural steel to building sites primarily around Brisbane and South Coast
• Training and verification to be completed during your onboarding - safe operation of HIAB cranes, forklifts and our trucks
• Work closely with builders and subcontractors
• You will be recognised as someone who brings professionalism and builds positive relationships with customers

What you'll need to succeed:

• Current MR/HR Open Licence in good standing - essential
• Knowledge of all National Heavy Vehicle Laws and Regulations
• Demonstrated experience with driving MR/HR - essential
• Experience with the operation of HIAB cranes- desirable
• Demonstrated customer-first approach and ability to build positive relationships with our customers
• Safety First mindset - essential
