Queensland Corrective Services is seeking a Truck Driver for the Southern Queensland Correctional Centre. You will deliver industry products on time, perform pre-start checks, secure loads and manage delivery paperwork.

The role sits in the Industries team and supports stocktakes and site maintenance. Required are an HR Licence with 2+ years’ experience and an Australian Forklift licence with 2+ years’ experience.

Formación

• Current HR Licence with minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Australian Forklift licence with minimum 2 years’ experience in loading and unloading of trucks.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-start checks in accordance with QCS procedures.
• Secure loads and review load restraints per WHS rules.
• Manage delivery paperwork including delivery dockets.
• Pickup and deliver required supplies as requested.
• Prepare and submit accurate logbooks and incident reports.
• Provide reports for equipment damage, defects or loss.
• Maintain administration records for deliveries and stock.
• Manage areas inside and outside the industries building.
• Removal of bins and other rubbish as required.
• Assist in the industries area at the direction of the Manager, Industries.
• Ensure requests for deliveries and pickups are actioned promptly.
• Assist with industries stocktakes and archiving centre documents.
• Comply with workplace health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular truck audits to ensure compliance with WHS.
