What does the job look like?

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused driver / forklift operator (MC preferred, HC license considered) for our Mining Services operation based in Emerald to move general freight around Emerald and to mine site locations. You will work Monday – Friday from 6am. Key areas:

• Participate in and commit to Linfox safety standards and COR requirements
• Safely deliver mixed mining freight to customer mine sites in the southern Bowen Basin
• Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers at our Emerald terminal
• Securely restrain freight loads using dogs and chains, straps & binders
• Providing excellent customer service while representing Linfox in a professional manner

• A commitment to safety in everything you do
• A good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight
• Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
