Job summary

Metcash Limited is seeking a casual MR/HR Truck Driver to cover the East Coast. The role involves delivering goods between Monday and Friday, 8am–5pm, with potential hours in the yard to boost casual hours. You will provide excellent customer service in an unsupervised environment and must hold an MR license.

Preferred candidates hold a valid car license, MR license, and HR/Crane license is a plus. Strong communication skills and physical fitness are essential for successful shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold MR license and be able to operate MR trucks.
• HR/Crane license is an advantage for some duties.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting.

Our Becks St. Helens Trade Centre is looking for a MR/HR Truck Driver to cover the East Coast area. This is a casual role and you will be allocating shifts across Monday to Friday between 8am – 5pm.

There will be opportunity to provide assistant at the yard to increase your casual hours.

You will provide excellent customer service and be relied upon to work in an unsupervised environment. You will need to hold a current MR licence.

• Delivery goods to our customers in the East Coast
• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors
• Provide accurate deliveries on time, with a high focus on customer service
• Be relied upon to represent the company in a professional manner

What you will bring

• Hold a valid car license
• Hold a current MR Truck License – essential
• A HR/Crane License (an advantage)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be physically fit (some heavy liftings require)
• Available to take shifts between Monday to Friday
