Job summary

Gold Coast Crane Trucks & Transport in Arundel, Queensland, is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver with crane operator experience to join our team. This casual role offers flexible work arrangements to suit your needs and supports our construction projects and domestic clients across South-East Queensland.

You will safely operate rigid trucks and crane trucks, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain delivery records, and provide consistent, high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• HR driver’s licence (Heavy Vehicle) valid and current.
• Minimum 1–2 years HR truck driving experience.
• Minimum 6 months crane operator experience.
• Australian work rights.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable HR Truck Driver with some Crane Operator experience to join our team at Gold Coast Crane Trucks & Transport in Arundel, Queensland. This is a casual position that offers flexible work arrangements to suit your needs. As a Truck Driver & Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of various materials and equipment to support our construction projects and domestic clients across the region.

Minimum 1-2 years of HR truck driving experience is required for this position.

A minimum of 6 months crane operator experience is essential.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate and maintain a range of vehicles including rigid trucks and crane trucks
• Load, secure and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, loads and delivery times
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence, Heavy Combination (HC) an advantage
• Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence must be current and valid
• Strong understanding of road safety, load restraint and vehicle maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work requirements
• CV Crane Licence will be an advantage (expired licences acceptable if renewable)
• Australian work rights are required for this position
