Job summary

UGL Energy and Industrial is seeking Trenching Operators to join our team on a FIFO basis with a 3/1 roster. You will operate trenching machines, dig trenches for electrical cables and pipes, and read site plans to identify underground services before starting work.

We value safety, quality, and environmental compliance on site and welcome candidates who can work autonomously or as part of a team, with demonstrated experience on construction sites and renewable or utility projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar construction/industrial role.
• Ability to operate trenchers and other heavy equipment.
• MR licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate trenching machinery and dig trenches for cables and pipes.
• Read site plans and locate underground services before digging.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance on site.

Job description

The UGL Energy and Industrial team currently looking forTrenching Operatorsto join our team, this is a FIFO position on a 3/1 roster.

Experience & Skills

• Demonstrated experience as a Trenching operator in similar role, on a construction site, this role will be operating trenching machines, digging trenches, installing electrical cables and pipes
• Ability to read site plans and locating underground services before digging
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Renewable Energy or Utilities projects
• Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environment compliance on site
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team

Key Requirements

• Minimum2 year experiencein a similar role on a construction or industrial site
• Experience operating trenchers, heavy machinery or relevant plant operating tickets
• MR licence
• Strong understanding of excavation, underground service safety and have worked on renewable project

• Construction White Card
