Job summary

EOS group seeks a Treasury Manager to lead day-to-day treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and treasury controls across the Group.

You will build forecasts, manage banking relationships, FX hedging, reporting to Exco and the Board, and support governance, risk management and continuous improvement within a multinational environment. This role partners with Tax and FP&A and interacts with lenders and export finance agencies.

Qualifications

  • Essential Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years' experience in treasury or corporate finance.
  • Knowledge of debt facilities, funding structures and export finance.
  • Experience in cash forecasting, liquidity management and treasury operations.
  • Covenant monitoring and lender reporting experience, including testing compliance.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP/Treasury Management System skills.
  • CA, CPA, CFA, ACT or equivalent qualifications desirable.
  • Experience in a multinational or global organisation.
  • Exposure to FX hedging and debt management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run rolling cash flow forecasts for the Group.
  • Manage daily cash positions and liquidity requirements.
  • Coordinate cash management to fund operations and optimise working capital.
  • Execute treasury transactions in line with policies and delegations.
  • Maintain bank accounts, signatories, mandates and onboarding.
  • Manage credit card facilities including limits and cancellations.
  • Manage FX exposures and hedging programs; analyse risk exposures.
  • Initiate and manage bank guarantees and compare pricing.
  • Support global banking relationships, debt facilities and reporting.
  • Prepare monthly treasury reports and support budgeting and forecasting.

Job description

Purpose of the Role

The Treasury Manager is a newly established role responsible for running the Group’s day‑to‑day treasury operations including developing and maintaining treasury processes, reporting and controls that provide visibility, governance and operational efficiency across the Group.

EOS is an ASX-listed defence technology company undergoing significant growth through expanding global operations, entry into new markets and acquisition activity. To support this growth, this role will be instrumental in establishing and embedding core treasury activities, including the effective management of cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, bank guarantees, foreign exchange risk, banking operations, funding administration, building forecasts, treasury governance and lender and covenant reporting.

The role works closely with and supports the Global Head of Tax and Treasury who has overall responsibility for the Group’s treasury function. The role sits within the shared services team with exposure to the executive, the Audit and Risk Committee, the Group's lenders, bankers and export finance agencies.

Key Responsibilities
Cash and Liquidity Management
  • Build and run rolling cash flow forecasts across the Group.
  • Manage daily cash positions and liquidity requirements.
  • Coordinate cash management activities to ensure sufficient funding for operational needs.
  • Find and act on opportunities to optimise working capital and cash utilisation.
Treasury Operations
  • Execute treasury transactions in accordance with approved policies and delegations.
  • Run intercompany funding arrangements and cash transfers.
  • Maintain bank accounts, signatories, account mandates and electronic banking platforms, and run bank onboarding and KYC.
  • Management and administration of credit card facilities including setting limits and cancelling cards.
  • Ensure treasury transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Foreign Exchange and Risk Management
  • Manage the Group’s foreign exchange exposures across Group entities.
  • Execution and administration of approved FX and hedging programs.
  • Prepare analysis of FX, interest rate, and counterparty risk exposures.
  • Maintain hedge documentation and support compliance requirements.
Bank guarantees
  • Initiate and execute bank guarantees and maintain the bank guarantee register.
  • Obtain competitive quotes across the group's guarantee providers, and compare pricing and terms before issuance.
  • Work with the export finance agencies to reduce the cash collateral held against guarantees.
  • Review bank guarantee wording before contracts are signed Monitor guarantee facility utilisation, lender covenant limits and and expiries.
Banking, lender and Funding Administration
  • Support the management of global banking, lender and export agencies finance relationships, and respond to their queries.
  • Administration of debt facilities, guarantees, and other financing arrangements, drawdowns, repayments and interest.
  • Prepare the monthly and periodic Core Obligors Cash Reserve report for the lenders and export finance agencies.
  • Assemble the monthly covenant compliance pack, and prepare the cash and covenant calculations within it, for final review and sign-off by the Global Head of Tax and Treasury. The financial control team prepares the P&L and balance sheet components for the Core Obligors.
  • Monitor covenant compliance, facility headroom and lender reporting obligations, flagging risks early and recommend the response
  • Monitor financing costs, including facility margin step-ups, and run scenario and sensitivity analysis on cash and covenant headroom.
  • Maintain the facility calendar of drawdowns, repayments, interest and reporting dates.
  • Support refinancing, corporate debt and project finance activities.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare monthly treasury reports for executive management.
  • Analyse cash flow trends, liquidity metrics, debt positions, and financial risk exposures, and provide insight on the debt portfolio for Exco and the Board.
  • Provide treasury input into budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Contribute to Board and Audit Committee reporting.
  • Prepare Group borrowings summary to support financial reporting.
Building the function, governance, Compliance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with treasury policies, controls, and delegated authorities.
  • Evaluate and, if approved, help implement a treasury management system, and improve cash visibility across banks and currencies.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Maintain treasury policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across treasury processes and systems.
  • Transition treasury reporting into repeatable, controlled, automated processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with regional finance teams to understand funding requirements and cash flow forecasts.
  • Liaise with banks, financial institutions, export finance agencies, auditors, and external advisors.
  • Work closely with Tax, FP&A, Finance and Shared Services teams.
  • Support treasury aspects of acquisitions, divestments, and business integration activities.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Essential Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years' experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or financial management.
  • Knowledge of debt facilities, funding structures and export finance.
  • Experience in cash forecasting, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
  • Covenant monitoring and lender reporting experience, including testing compliance against facility terms.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP/Treasury Management System skills.
  • Desirable CA, CPA, CFA, ACT or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience within a multinational or global organisation.
  • Exposure to foreign exchange hedging and debt management.
  • Experience with treasury management systems and banking platforms.
